What are Nauti Decals?

Our Nauti Decals are self-adhesive vinyl stickers that work great on cars, boats, buckets, dock boxes, windows, walls, mailboxes and almost any other smooth surface.

What can I apply the vinyl lettering / decals to?

Our self-adhesive vinyl lettering and decals can be used for both indoor and outdoor applications.  They work well on most non-porous, smooth surfaces including metal, plastic, glass, vinyl, finished fiberglass, gel coat, painted or finished wood, drywall and others.

The lettering does not adhere well to oily surfaces such as natural canvas or porous surfaces like unpainted concrete, plaster or fabric.

How much does the boat lettering / decals cost?

When you design your lettering online the price is shown on the lower right side of the design page and it will update with every change you make to the design.

The onscreen price is for one (1) copy of what is shown in the onscreen preview.

If you need 2 or more copies of the lettering, you can specify that number in the purchase tab and the rate will update accordingly.

If you have a graphic, logo or would like a custom lettering layout, you can submit a quote request on the Design Service page.

How soon will I get my vinyl decals?

Orders designed online are produced and shipped from our Florida warehouse via UPS within 2 business days.  Actual delivery time varies based on your location.

Custom requests usually take around 5 business days to produce, plus shipping time. 

What is your delivery policy? 

Products are shipped from NautiDecalShop.com via UPS.  It is our goal to ship your order within 2 business days of its receipt (Monday - Friday before 1:00 PM).  You will be notified immediately if your order is delayed for any reason.  Weekends and federal holidays do not count as shipping days.

We ship to the address provided at checkout - please make sure that it is entered correctly!  Corrections made after the order has been placed will be charged at the current UPS rate.

A tracking number and link will be provided via email once your order has shipped, or you can visit www.ups.com and enter the number on their Tracking page.

Packages should be inspected within 3 days of receipt.  Damaged shipments will be handled by UPS via their claims process.

What if I have problems installing the lettering?

Most of our customers have been able to successfully install their vinyl lettering without any problems, even as first time installers.  With our installation guarantee, you can order custom vinyl lettering and decals with confidence and install them yourself with professional results.  If you run into trouble, contact us and we'll be glad to help in any way we can.

If you do have problems installing your vinyl and damage occurs, we'll send you a free replacement. 

Do you offer an Installation Guarantee?

Why yes, we do!  If for any reason the lettering does not install correctly, we will send a one-time free replacement for either the damaged letters or, if necessary, the whole decal.  Just pay the $4.95 shipping fee.

What if I make a mistake?

We all make mistakes!  That's why we offer a generous 30 day guarantee on mistakes made when ordering such as incorrect sizing, wrong color, etc.  Replacements will be charged at 50% of the original price and shipped for only $4.95.  Upon receiving the package, please open within 3 business days and inspect the product for accuracy.

Do you offer bulk pricing?

Yes, we're happy to offer a discounted rate for large quantities.  Please contact us to provide the details, as every quote is based on the entire size and scope of the project.

Can I add a custom graphic or logo to my order?

We can make custom graphic and logo decals from most digital image files.  Please submit your request on our Design Service page for anything other than the basic text that can be created with our online design tool.

Can I have you custom design my boat name? 

Sure!  Please submit your request on our Design Service page and we'll be happy to work with you.

Can you reverse the lettering to install inside a window?

For most orders, we highly recommend not reversing the lettering.  The lettering is more vivid when installed on the outside and is made to last up to 5 years outdoors.

Since reversed is not an option on the website, you can contact us after placing your order and we'll be happy to reverse it for you at no extra charge.

* Reversing the lettering can only be done with cut vinyl and not full color prints.

Can I re-order lettering from a previous online order?

Yes.  From your original order confirmation page, just click on the 6 or 7-digit Custom Lettering number above the item you wish to reorder and it will be loaded for you. 

What is your cancellation policy? 

Please call us immediately if you wish to cancel your order.  Cancellations must be made within 24 hours of placement.

What is your refund policy?

Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt.  Errors must be reported via email within 3 business days of shipment receipt.  Personalized and custom ordered items may not be returned for a refund unless an error was made by us or occurred during the shipping process.  If related to shipping you must file a claim with UPS.

What is your color matching policy?

We do our best to provide products with industry standard colors and printing practices.  Please do not base your color selection on the display of your screen, rather choose based on the caption shown.  Due to the calibration of computer monitors there may be a difference between what you see onscreen and the actual product(s).  

If your color is critical please contact us before ordering and we will do our best to accommodate you.

We cannot replace products based on color variation.   

What is your proof policy? 

For custom design orders only, a proof will be provided via email and must be approved in writing prior to the order being produced.  The customer is responsible for reviewing all aspects of the design for accuracy.

Refunds or replacements will only be given if the error is made by us or occured during the shipping process.  If related to shipping you must file a claim with UPS.

What is the outdoor durability of your standard calendared vinyl?

Our standard grade calendared vinyl is a great general purpose material that should last up to 5 years outdoors.  Covered graphics and limited sun exposure may help to extend the life.  We offer a 4 year replacement guarantee: Nautidecalshop.com will provide a one time free replacement for any standard calendared vinyl that splits, cracks, peels or falls off within 4 years of the purchase date.

What is acceptable content?

We reserve the right to deny the production of custom products for any reason.  We will not produce logos transmitted to us that are copy written unless the customer has explicit permission to do so.  We will not produce any custom product that includes adult content in general including nudity, x rated content or foul language.  Orders that are cancelled due to violations of content will be refunded in full. 

Do you offer Free Shipping?

Yes!  We offer free shipping on orders over $99.00.  Please note replacement orders are not included in our free standard shipping offer.

How much is sales tax?

Because we are in Florida, we are required to collect sales tax for any item (tangible personal property) delivered to a Florida address.  We do not have an obligation to collect sales tax on behalf of other states.   However, you the buyer may be required to file a use tax with your state.

How do you handle tax exempt orders?

We do not charge sales tax if you are located outside the state of Florida.  If you are a tax-exempt organization having product shipped to Florida we can exempt sales tax.  Please provide an emailed copy of your tax-exempt certificate prior to placing the order and we will set up your account accordingly.

You must be logged in as a tax-exempt customer for sales tax to be waived.  We cannot accept faxed copies and we cannot refund sales tax once an order has been placed.
